And the Dumbass of the Month Award goes to……

Missouri Governor Matt Blunt for pulling funding to Planned Parenthood offices – effective immediately (no funding for remainder of year) for a program that has provided free breast and cervical cancer screenings to over 1,500 women during the last 5 years.

He is diverting the funds to other groups because “patients should not have to go to an abortion clinic to access lifesaving tests.” The Governor said that there were only two Planned Parenthood clinics in the area that participated in the prevention program.

Guess what? Yup – neither clinic performs abortion procedures!! You do the math.

Nice way to play politics with women’s lives! What a dummy!
